Registration is now open for the Fifth Annual Poppy Walk & 5k Run!

Run, Walk, Roll or Stroll at the 5th Annual Poppy Walk & 5K Run on Saturday, March 28th, 2015 in Bidwell Park to celebrate Spring and benefit the Peg Taylor Center ‘s life saving daily health care.

Walkers and Runners will both take off at 8:30 AM. Families are welcome, and children 12 and under walk free with an adult. The event takes place at the One Mile Recreation Area, at 300 South Park Drive in Chico. The prices are as follows:

• Walkers and Non-Timed Runners: $25 by 3/11/15; $30 thereafter.
• Timed Runners: $30 by 3/11/15; $35 thereafter.

You can register here at the site, at Fleet Feet in Downtown Chico, or at the Peg Taylor Center at 124 Parmac Road , Chico , CA.

Register by March 11th to be guaranteed a t-shirt. Race day registration is from 7:30 to 8:15 AM. The 5K Run and 1 Mile Walk both start at 8:30. (Timed runners start in front.)

Waiver

Please read through the waiver before registering for the Poppy Walk & 5k Run.

In consideration of your accepting this entry, I, intending to be legally bound hereby for myself, my heirs, executors, and administrators, waive and release any and all rights and claims that I may have against the persons and organizations affiliated with this race: Innovative Health Care Services, Peg Taylor Center for Adult Day Health Care, FleetFeet Chico, LLC, Under The Sun Events, the City of Chico, County of Butte, and State of California and all other contributing organizations; and assign for any and all injuries suffered by me while traveling to or from or while competing in the Poppy Walk & 5K Run, held on Saturday, March 28th, 2015. I further attest that I am physically fit and have trained for this event.

If registering another participant besides myself, I certify that I have been given the authority by said participant to register on their behalf.
