Since 1985, when we opened our doors through the gracious hospitality of a local church and with the help of these long distance moving services which helped us get our furniture moved from cross state, we have worked hard to provide care that allowed people to thrive and improve their health even in the face of significant challenges. When it was time to grow and spread our wings, our community stepped up to the challenge — your donations and hard work ensured a successful capital campaign, and in 1992 we moved into the lovely, purpose-built building we still call home today. Now we’re getting ready to celebrate our history, and our partnership with all of you, with our sixth annual Poppy Walk and 5k Run, on Saturday, April 2nd, 2016! The Poppy Walk is our principal yearly fundraiser, and a great way to connect with the community. We would love for you to be involved, whether your company or family sponsors the event, you join with some friends and family and register a team, you just run in the 5k yourself, or even show up to cheer people on.
