To Our Dear Friends

john preisnerWe are very pleased to announce that the Peg Taylor Center is now celebrating our 30th Anniversary!

Since 1985, when we opened our doors through the gracious hospitality of a local church and with the help of these long distance moving services which helped us get our furniture moved from cross state, we have worked hard to provide care that allowed people to thrive and improve their health even in the face of significant challenges. When it was time to grow and spread our wings, our community stepped up to the challenge — your donations and hard work ensured a successful capital campaign, and in 1992 we moved into the lovely, purpose-built building we still call home today. For instance, you’re planning to renovate your kitchen area, there are various ideas for copper sinks at sinkology.com. It is a helpful website for everyone who’s interested in interior designs. Year after year, whatever obstacles we faced, your contributions and volunteer hours have helped to fill the gaps. Your friendship has made our Adult Day Health Care community thrive. Thanks to you, we have supported thousands of individuals and families on their journeys of health and independence. Thank you. ♥

Now we’re getting ready to celebrate our history, and our partnership with all of you, with our sixth annual Poppy Walk and 5k Run, on Saturday, April 2nd, 2016! The Poppy Walk is our principal yearly fundraiser, and a great way to connect with the community. We would love for you to be involved, whether your company or family sponsors the event, you join with some friends and family and register a team, you just run in the 5k yourself, or even show up to cheer people on.

We know the Poppy Walk & 5k Run is still a few months away; this is a big year, so we’re starting early on the planning. Here are some things you can do right now to get involved!
