Get Ready to Sponsor the Poppy Walk!

IMG_2082

The California poppy is the symbol of the Peg Taylor Center because it blooms everywhere, even under the toughest conditions. In 2011, Peg Taylor Center volunteers began hosting the Poppy Walk & 5k Run each spring. Over the past five years, this family-friendly race has acquainted thousands of local community members with the Peg Taylor Center’s mission, while raising over $100,000 in urgently needed funding.

Now we’re getting ready for the 10th Annual Poppy Walk & 5k Run, on Saturday, April 18th, 2020. We’re thrilled to announce that Former Butte County Supervisor Maureen Kirk will serve as our Honorary Chair again this year, and look forward to another beautiful morning with our friends in the community.

You can help our community to be healthy by supporting the Poppy Walk. There are two great ways to partner with us—through a Sponsorship, and by signing up a team. Your support will make all the difference for families whose loved ones are facing serious health challenges. Your sponsorship will also be recognized publicly in many ways before, during and after the event. The different sponsorship levels are listed below. To sign up via Paypal, just click the button below and type in the amount you would like to contribute. For all of the details, please call Darcy Cooper, Outreach Coordinator, at (530) 342-2345.
